Service Description

Our North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun (CCH) course is a state-approved 8-hour class that satisfies all classroom and range requirements for your concealed carry permit application. Please note: depending on range time, the course may run a little longer than 8 hours. What You’ll Learn NC Firearms Laws – Where you can and cannot carry, and the laws surrounding the use of deadly force. Handgun Safety – Safe handling, storage, and carrying practices. Fundamentals of Shooting – Proper stance, grip, aiming, trigger control, and follow-through. Conflict Avoidance & Awareness – How to recognize and avoid threats before they escalate. Cost & Rentals Course Fee: $100 Optional Rental Package: $25 – includes a .22 caliber handgun and ammunition. Range Guidelines, Dress Code & Safety: The range is indoors, but temperature often reflects the outdoor weather. Please dress accordingly: Closed-toe shoes are required. Comfortable clothing with a high scoop-neck top (helps deflect hot brass). Brimmed cap (optional): Additional protection from hot brass. Note: Exposed skin may receive minor burns from ejected casings during live fire. Safety Gear-ear and eye protection will be provided. You may bring your own (prescription eyeglasses are acceptable). Lunch Break A 45-minute lunch break is scheduled. Bagged lunches are recommended for timing efficiency. Nearby food options are available if you prefer to purchase. Ammunition Requirements Students may bring any handgun caliber ammunition of their choice. If renting from the instructor, only .22 caliber ammunition is permitted. Please bring at least 50 rounds for the live-fire qualification. For questions about ammo selection, contact the instructor, The Good Guy, at 919-475-0017 at least 24 hours before class. Certification Upon successful completion, you will receive the official NC CCH training certificate required for your permit application.

Cancellation Policy

**Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy** **Updated July 15, 2026** Due to increased class demand and limited seating, this policy has been updated to ensure fairness to all trainees. Each registration reserves a specific seat that may prevent another student from attending. By registering for a class, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms. **Rescheduling Requests: Requests to reschedule must be submitted at least **7 calendar days before the scheduled class date** by contacting Good Guys with Guns, LLC at 919-475-0017 or [goodguyswithgunsllc@gmail.com](mailto:goodguyswithgunsllc@gmail.com). Approved rescheduling requests may be granted as a **one-time courtesy transfer** to a future class of equivalent content, subject to class availability and instructor approval. Courtesy transfers: • Are not guaranteed. • Must be used within the same calendar year. • Cannot be transferred to another person. • Cannot be exchanged for refunds, cash, or credits. • Cannot be carried into a future calendar year. If a trainee does not attend the rescheduled class date, the registration will be considered fulfilled and no additional transfer or refund will be provided. **Late Rescheduling Requests** Requests submitted **less than 7 calendar days before the scheduled class date** are considered late requests and are not guaranteed approval. Late requests, missed classes, no-shows, and scheduling conflicts may result in forfeiture of registration. Exceptions may be considered for serious illness, emergencies, or other unusual circumstances at the sole discretion of Good Guys with Guns, LLC. Documentation may be requested. **Refund Policy** All registrations are final. No refunds will be issued for trainee cancellations, missed classes, no-shows, or inability to attend. If Good Guys with Guns, LLC must cancel or reschedule a class, attendees may transfer their registration to another available class date or request a refund. *Late Arrivals & No-Shows* Students arriving more than 15 minutes late, or failing to return promptly from scheduled breaks may not be permitted to participate. This is an 8-hour state-required course, and missed instructional time may prevent completion. Final determination is at the discretion of the instructor. Failure to attend a scheduled class without prior notification in accordance with this policy will be considered a no-show and result in forfeiture of registration.
